But, adding a fresh coat of paint to your laundry room is an easy and inexpensive way to give five spaces a new look.
There are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a paint color for your laundry.
How bright is your room? Is there a window? The light above? Most laundry rooms have very little natural light, so make sure you test your colors with overhead lights!

We’ve added a nice pop of Benjamin Moore Santorini Blue to the Double Eagle Project laundry area below, for those of you hesitant to paint your cabinets, the laundry area is a safe place to try.
In our Project Brio small space laundry room, we added cabinetry to the ceiling to get as much storage space as possible. The upper cabinets are painted my favorite white, Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. Although we try to design a space that is clean and bright, we don’t want it to be restrictive. To add color and contrast, we chose a beautiful blue gray for the lower cabinets, Farrow and Ball Pigeon.
If you like the idea of a clean white laundry room, our white is perfect to go with. Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace is a bright and clean white that does not show yellow or blue in most areas. We love it paired with warm wood and a terra cotta tile.

From a design perspective, the laundry room is a place where I like to have a little fun. When I do laundry, I want to feel like I’m somewhere I love.

When we landed on Pigeon by Farrow and Ball, I knew I had just what I needed for my bathroom paint color. It met all the criteria I was looking for. I’ve read that it’s a gray with blue undertones, but to me it looks like a very pale light green. But it still adds the right color.
Our laundry room has no windows, so I knew we needed a lighter in that room. Although, for most laundry rooms, I still prefer to go for lighter colors. It seems to give the room a much needed sense of calm. Our walls and ceiling went lighter which added some contrast to the cabinets.
