Decorating Large Wall Space In Living Room – If you’re staring at a bare wall in your living room trying to decide what to do with it, one of these six living room wall decorating ideas should help!

Do you have a big bare wall in your room like me? I don’t think every bare wall needs decorating, but this looks like it needs something. I don’t know what it is! After some searching for inspiration, I’ve collected six of my favorite living room wall decor ideas to share!

My art prints are in 18″ x 24″ polished brass frames – you can’t buy my exact frames myself (my art is pre-framed) but they are the same and the same size and shape and larger or check if they aren’t too big too much

You just have to be careful how your tapestry hangs, because some tapestries can make your room look more like a dorm room, which is not what you want. I love this particular way to hang them with a quilt hook, like this:

I have seen an amazing transformation of the wall of a large empty room with a built-in bookshelf, but if this is out of your budget, a large freestanding bookshelf can give you a similar look! it’s amazing:

A large floor mirror works well on a bare living room wall, especially if it’s in front of a window to reflect light into the space. absolutely stunning and has a very traditional design with an updated twist to look great with any decor style:

Living rooms often have square pieces – coffee tables, televisions, media consoles, etc. so adding some round baskets on the wall breaks things up and adds texture and softness. I love the look of some different shaped baskets:
