What Is The Biggest Carnival Cruise Ship – The Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland, cut the first iron on Wednesday for the Carnival Cruise Line ship, which will be among the 10 largest cruise ships in the world.
At 180,000 gross tons, the yet-to-be-named vessel will be 35 percent larger than the largest carnival ships currently at sea.

Carnival also said at the time that the ship would run on liquefied natural gas — a rarity in the cruise world. Carnival marked the first time a North American ship ran on natural gas.
Carnival has released little else about the ship other than a rendering of its exterior, which will feature a new carnival red, white and blue hull design. Carnival boats are currently white with red stripes.
Carnival said Wednesday that the ship’s name will be announced in early December. Details of their first routes will be announced in January. Details of onboard features will follow in late 2019.

When launched, the new ship will be the sixth largest ship in the world. Carnival Venezia transferred from Costa Cruises in March 2023. The Vista-class ship entered service in 2019 and will sail through CARNIVAL as COSTA. The cruise ship goes to Venice and can accommodate 5,145 guests.
