Now this is determined by the size of your room and what you are offering. As a general rule, bigger is always better thought out. With a large rug, you enhance the look of your room and anchor the space. Small bowls can work well as accents rather than as entry points.

Let’s start by finding the right rug for the king bedroom. The right size of rug will depend on the size of the room (large living room or small bedroom), the number of rugs you want, and the placement of rugs under the bed.

Depending on the design, your rug will be between 2’6″ and 9″. The length you need depends on how you install the rug. If you decide to put a rug under the bed, you’ll need two nightstands (although I recommend a nightstand regardless of the rug!) Don’t forget to add music to play at night.

As before, there is a choice of carpet next to the bed or carpet under the bed. If your bed is in a corner, I recommend choosing a smaller rug over a larger one (runs to the bottom of the bed). This is easy to wear and still looks good!
