I am a member of several hotel rewards programs. There’s nothing wrong with having more than one. However, the longer you stay with the same hotel program, the more benefits you will receive with the program. Choose a hotel that you like or wish to stay longer. Please ensure that you always provide your prize number when ordering and/or when logging into your account. And then verify after each stay to make sure you’ve been credited for your stay.
When I travel to this city for a long time, I stay in a number of hotel chains. I can compare and determine which hotels I prefer and which programs offer the best deals. For starters, some hotel chains reward their loyalty program members with reduced rates when they join their program. In many cases, they only require a short stay to avail the lower member-only rates. Sometimes those who join loyalty programs get it right away. And you may find that the price of program membership is lower than anything you can find on a third-party coupon travel site. For example, Hilton has guaranteed discounts for members regardless of what level you reach in their loyalty program.
You may also want to join a hotel loyalty program if you find that your travel plans change frequently after booking. Securing a room through another discount site means you have to follow their cancellation policy. And sometimes that means paying for a room, even if your flight is delayed or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
On the other hand, Hotel Loyalty members can often cancel their stay even at the last minute without any consequences. Also, if there is a fee, talking directly to the hotel and mentioning your loyalty program membership will often get them to waive the fee. I had this experience with my World of Hyatt membership. I was very sick 24 hours before staying at the hotel. This hotel’s policy is 48 hours. I immediately called Hyatt and explained the situation and they waived the cancellation fee on my membership.
While there are no guarantees, because of my loyalty status, I can change my reservation within 24 hours without a cancellation fee at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad.

For example, if you normally have to pay for Wi-Fi, some hotels provide free access to their members. Additionally, they may offer free drinks, free breakfast, or other gifts upon check-in. Usually, points often appear at the beginning of the program level. However, as you level up, the benefits and perks get bigger and better!
