This list does not include 2023 vehicles that do not yet have public EPA results, and some that are classified as too large for regular EPA testing, such as the GMC Hummer EV pickup and SUV.
BMW has brought the ultimate battery and electric motor: the sports sedan. The i4 offers a maximum range of $57,100 in the eDrive40 model. The base car costs about $5,000 less and gets 256 miles of EPA range.

Kia EV6 hatchback-SUV-about success and it is clear why. In addition to the full range offered in $48,700 Wind RWD trim, the EV6 looks like a spaceship and can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes – faster than the competition.
If you don’t care about range, go for the upgraded EV6 GT, which reaches 60 mph faster than some Ferraris.
Ford’s $45,995 electric Mustang offers a solid 247 miles of range. But you’ll go the furthest in the California Route 1 Edition, which offers all-wheel drive and 312 miles of range for a sticker price of $57,995.
This sleek and futuristic SUV is Cadillac’s first electric car. The 2024 model costs $58,590 before options like all-wheel drive, hands-free Super Cruise, and a panoramic sunroof.

The 7 Series is BMW’s largest and most luxurious sedan, and the i7 is the new electric version. A steep price of $119,300 gets you 536 horsepower (available through two engines) and a 4.5-second sprint to 60 mph.
But the real star of the show is the i7’s luxurious interior, which features heated, ventilated and massaging seats all around, a curved display and an optional 31.3-inch TV screen that drops down from the roof.
Ford has electrified America’s favorite truck. But if you need more than 240 miles, a truck is out of reach for most Americans. The 320-mile extended-range model starts at $80,974.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS may have a floating swimming pool design, but for some reason it looks that way. The smooth, curved design helps eliminate drag and maximize range. As a result, this six-seat luxury sedan offers some of the best driving range in the US market.
However, the EQS was beaten by three Teslas, including the Model X SUV. The $100,000 Model X is Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s second-oldest vehicle, but it’s still the industry leader when it comes to handling.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range was not available for order at the time of publication on the automaker’s website. The cheapest version of the sedan is the rear-wheel-drive model, which costs $42,990 and offers an EPA range of 272 miles.

But a few years ago came the latest dog to beat Musk’s top tech by a huge margin, Lucid Motors.
Led by the former chief engineer of the Model S, the Californian startup has created some of the most technologically impressive electric cars ever to hit the US market. There’s currently only one model – the Air sedan – but it’s available in a range of prices and estimates.
Electric Cars With The Longest Range
The $138,000 Air Grand Touring delivers 516 miles of range, plus 1,050 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 2.6 seconds. Lucid says that just 12 minutes of connecting to a fast charger results in 200 kilometers of autonomy.
Even the entry-level Air Pure beats the Tesla with 410 miles of EPA range. It’s also cheaper, starting at $87,400. Range is one of the biggest concerns for car buyers considering electric vehicles. That’s because some fear, the fear that your EV won’t have the battery power it needs to complete the trip, is a very strong motivating factor. Just like when you run out of gas in a conventional car, driving an electric car that suddenly runs out of gas is no fun.
With that in mind, we’ve rounded up 18 EVs currently on sale with EPA-published ratings for the 2023 model year that offer a minimum range of 300 miles. The vehicles range in style and size, from luxury SUVs and high-performance sport sedans to practical pickups and crossovers. We’ll start at the top with the cars that provide the best charging intervals, then work our way down.
All ranges are based on data estimated by the EPA, but these are only estimates. At this time, we have not included non-EPA-rated vehicles such as the GMC Hummer EV pickup truck; Even manufacturer estimates don’t cut it in this list. Your coverage may vary depending on a number of factors, including the weather, where you drive, driving style, occupation and more.

Even the 2023 trims (Touring and Pure) still have more than 400 kilometers.
The Tesla Model S is a fast, luxurious and spacious electric sedan. Since its introduction in 2012, the Model S has changed the way people look at electrics. With sharp handling and acceleration that rivals some of the world’s fastest sports cars, the Model S is no golf car. The standard Model S delivers an EPA-estimated 255 miles of range with dual-motor AWD and 19-inch wheels,
